Artists/Crafters Booth Application

The historic Town Green in Longmeadow is the setting for a two day New England Town Fair offering a wide range of exhibits, crafts, antiques, activities, food, tours, artists, activities for children , history re-enactors, live entertainment and a Memorial Day Service

Proceeds support the Longmeadow Historical Society's Storrs House Museum and Archives including preservation, historical, and educational programs.


ARTISTS AND CRAFTERS

Saturday: 10 AM - 5 PM         Sunday: 12 Noon - 5 PM  

We seek excellent artists and crafters who offer a wide variety of quality handmade items in varied price ranges. We will only accept items you have personally designed and crafted.  Please be very specific in describing the items you will have for sale.  No pornography, drug paraphernalia, fireworks, weapons, or other dangerous items will be allowed.

Please note:
We do not accept items made from commercial kits, originated or copyrighted by others, buy-and-sell products, items manufactured, or imports.  We reserve the right to decline space to anyone exhibiting or selling dangerous items and will request removal of any products that are unacceptable.  Space for Jewelry crafters will be limited to those recognized for their quality of hand-crafted jewelry.

BOOTH SPACES AND PRICES

Allocated space for each booth is approximately 15 ft by 15 ft.   

Prices are $125 for a regular booth, $150 for a corner booth and $200 for a double booth
Prices has been the same for the past 8 years.

All payments by personal check must be received by April 30.  

Registrations received after April 30:  Registration + payment via online payment ONLY.

As the lay-out may be different, we cannot guarantee the same location you may have had in the past nor does a past LMD experience guarantee approval for this year, particularly jewelry crafters.  Sub-letting is not allowed.  

SELECTION AND SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  1. We encourage online registration + payment to facilitate the process and to assure that your application is quickly reviewed.
  2. Include a photograph of each category of items you are exhibiting.
  3. For mailed applications, please include a check for $125, $150 or $200 payable to the Longmeadow Historical Society. (No refunds after 45 days from date of application or April 30 whichever comes first.)
  4. If your exhibit involves any type of FOOD ITEM, including packaged food:
    a.  A Health Dept. form and Certificate of Inspection from YOUR town is REQUIRED.
    b.  An additional fee of $45 + an application for a Temporary Food Permit are required for any exhibit involving a food item.  There is no online payment option for this fee.
  5. Pets are NOT allowed.
